Amber Ontiveros is president of Ontiveros and Associates, LLC., a woman and minority-owned small business headquartered in Portland, OR. Amber’s training and experience spans two decades working with public agencies to improve their civil rights programs. Prior to creating the Ontiveros firm, Amber served as senior policy advisor to the Obama Administration at the US Department of Transportation on civil rights matters. She and her team rewrote federal laws pertaining to Title VI, Equal Employment Opportunity, Environmental Justice, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise contracting programs. She is also the main author of guidance and national training on how to measure Title VI disparate impact discrimination in transportation. She has investigated several notable civil rights cases across the country and brought agencies into compliance with federal law. Nationally she is considered an expert in Title VI, Title VII, and DBE regulations.


Edward Gaston is the Founder & Chief Operating Officer at Wealth Watchers based in Jacksonville, Florida. The mission of Wealth Watchers Inc. is to build viable communities by expanding the knowledge of low-to-moderate income individuals for the purpose of understanding the importance of basic finance and the accumulation of wealth. Ed's experience in finance and wealth is vast. Some of the positions he has held are as follows: Community Development Florida Officer (North) Wachovia Securities, First Union National Bank Community Development Florida Officer (North), Microsoft Community Lending Specialist, Bank of America Community Lending Specialist. Also was a U.S. Department of Energy Presidential Management Fellow.
